EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from the College of Saint Rose with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish 7-12 Education. As a sophomore, I had the opportunity to live in Seville, Spain and attended classes at the Center for Cross-Cultural Study. From Seville, I was able to travel easily and experienced the wonderful cities of Madrid, Barcelona, Mérida, Trujillo, Cáceres and Granada!

After graduating from Saint Rose with the Outstanding Senior Award for Spanish 7-12 Education, I headed to the SUNY at Albany, where I pursued a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESL).

I have spent time in Stillwater Central School District as well as Doyle Middle School in Troy, and Duanesburg High School.

This will be my sixth year at Guilderland and I am absolutely loving it! I have met some amazing teenagers in this district and I'm proud to be part of the outstanding Guilderland tradition!

I participate in several committees at GHS such as: 9th Grade Teacher Team, Staff Development, 9th Grade Advisory, Community Enhancement, 9th Grade Transition Team and the Curriculum Mapping Leadering Team. I enjoy being active in Guilderland and look forward to another grade year!

HOBBIES & PASTTIMES

I currently live in Princetown in our family home with my mother, sister and fourteen-year-old niece, Sierra. In my free time, I listen to music as well as sing. I also enjoy writing poetry and spending time with my family. Y por supuesto, ¡me encanta el español!

I also go to our hockey games- GO SKATING DUTCHMAN!! You can see me at most all of the games! I'll be the one screaming the loudest! I'm also a big Bruins and Red Wings fan!
