EXPLANATION

Your participation grade is approximately 30-50% of your grade. It will be 150-300 points each quarter. There are 2 main components.

1. PARTICIPATION CALENDAR: Each month, you will keep track of your participation checks and tally them up for a total that will be converted into your grade based on the following scale.

2. GRADED CLASSWORK: Each class there will be something that is collected and graded. It may be a project or worksheet but all these classwork grades count toward your participation. Completely classwork is part of actively participating and therefore counts heavily into your grade.
